Thanks for your generosity in offering this course freely. Unfortunately the short voice clips and the constant need to keep clicking “next” doesn’t work so well. It would be great to have entire subjects covered in one click rather than single sentences. I couldn’t make it to the end.
Douglas Barnes says
Mikal, sorry the formatting didn’t work out for you. I’ll keep your advice in mind with future courses.

Perhaps you can offer a choice to follow with pauses for those who need it like people who speak and understand english a little and a without pauses for those that can understand clearly. this would allow people who like learn faster to engage

3*** out of 5*****!!!
+3*** for teaching B. Mollison’s original 3 ethics & not indoctrinating us with a bunch of Marxist hippie WOO-WOO;-)
-1* for the course not working with Firefox thus forcing me to use Win. Explorer.
-1* for the Password formation torture, time loss & way TOO many clicks to continue such a short course.
However, NOT bad for a 1st try at formatting and creating educational content!
Best,
BJ

Sorry about the difficulties, Brian.
The program throws up a warning for Firefox but does actually run on Firefox. The issue had been that Firefox previously did not support mp3 (which they now do).
Could you tell me about the password issue you had? This course is open to all without registration as an issue, so if something asked you for a password, there was a serious and mysterious error that I would like to fix.
Brian Jones says
Hello Douglas,
The Membership password security setting is very high IMO. Not that it is a bad thing it just took me a while to come up with a password that would pass the security muster.
Best,
BJ

I didn’t mind hitting the next button, as I like to write things out to learn. I have been doing a lot of investigating around this topic, and I find this short course to: explain information well, simplify, and leave you looking to learn more. Thanks for inspiring me further, and making it available for people to learn without the risk !! This I feel is a great service in its self to help nurse the earth back to health . . . . . knowledge of this method, and creating inspiration, so people can use their power to simply create for themselves !!
Thank-you
Christine
